Drawer Pulls: Quick Fix for Loose Pulls

0

You do not always need to replace your drawer pulls, especially if they are the right material and the right look for the room. However, if they are loose or not fitting the right way, you might want to repair them before they pull off. Loose drawer pulls can make the room look untidy or unkempt and can bedevil the homeowner. One of the easiest ways to repair a loose drawer pull is with a little bit of nail polish on the screw. Tighten the screw back up and then paint over the top of it with the nail polish. This will keep the screw from loosening and backing itself back out. Another tip: add thin washers to the screw to make sure that it is as tight as possible without splitting the wood.
