Cleaning Drawer Pulls

by guestpost on August 10, 2009

Drawer pulls keep coming into contact with hands and sooner are later, dirt accumulates on them.  Cleaning drawer pulls is not difficult but thee are some basic rules to follow. Use a damp cloth to wipe the surface of the pull. Do not use chemical cleaning agents unless the manufacturer’s instructions say they can be used. In some cases chemicals can remove the protective coating from the metal and such damage will not be covered by the guarantee. If dirt has gotten into any of the design feature of the drawer pulls, use a soft brush to remove the grime. Using a hard brush or any pointed object to remove the dirt can leave scratches on the surface.
